POTENTIAL PROJECT H

STALLINGS RECREATION CENTER
OWNER - CITY OF NEW ORLEANS

Project H proposes installing an underground stormwater storage tank at the Stallings Recreation Center. Once installed, the space above the tank can revert to a grassy field that can be used for sports and community programming. A similar project was built at A.L. Davis Park in Central City.

The image with the green hexagons is from the drainage model and shows the improvements gained from implementing the potential project.  As you can see, the benefits are not restricted to the area around the project, but cascade through the drainage system as a whole.
